Projects Support Engineer – Technik

Technik Engineering Industries is looking for a Projects Support Engineer to join its Projects Team and support the preparation and development of technical drawings and project-related engineering documentation for building façade fixing and support systems.

The position is suitable for a junior Architectural Engineer with practical experience in architectural drawings and technical support, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural and structural drawings to understand project requirements related to Technik façade fixing and support systems.
• Prepare and revise drawings, sections, elevations, and technical details using AutoCAD and other approved design software.
• Support the Team Leader in preparing project-specific details for brackets, channels, framing systems, and related Technik products.
• Update drawings based on technical comments, approved revisions, and project changes.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, technical submissions, quantity sheets, tracking sheets, and other project-support documents.
• Coordinate with the Projects Team and relevant internal departments to obtain the technical information required to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain organized project drawings, revisions, and technical records.
• Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
• Support technical clarifications and project/site coordination when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience, with prior practical experience required, preferably in architectural design, technical drawings, or engineering project support.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Intermediate proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings and construction details.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized with good time-management skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within agreed deadlines.
